As part of Open Circle Theater's new weekly range of fantastic late-night offerings, the last weekend of each month, will be OCTV where we will perform an episode of a classic TV show live on stage. For two nights (Fri. & Sat. at 11pm) some of Seattle's funniest actors and comics will perform a randomly-selected classic television script. At the end of that month's shows the big dial will be spun and next month's offering will be chosen. For March OCTV presents as their inaugural offering the action-packed 80's classic THE A-TEAM, with Mr. T, George Peppard and Barkley from Next Generation. "I pity the fool who doesn't come see this show!!" It's Friday 3/27 and Saturday 3/28 at 11pm, the cost is only $10, and there will be prizes, guests, surprises and of course, there's Open Circle's full bar with astounding drink specials...

mood: excitedable
music: Carlotta's theme music
Open Circle Theater is excited to present the return of Carlotta's All New Late Night Live TV Wing Ding, running Fridays and Saturdays, February 6 thru March 7 at 10:30 pm.
Carlotta Philpott, late-night maven and long-time hostess of the popular Wing Ding has created a brand new show, this time live on television. She states "We're back! Terry went & got us hooked up with the TV people... so ever show is taped live just like that Letter-fella's show... only our's may be a bit funner! We have us a brand new Africa America Co-Hostess, a little street rapper intern helper boy, & a Floor Director for the TV show... plus me & Terry!" Running on Public Access, Ms. Philpott's Wing Ding show will tape before a live audience late nights Fridays and Saturdays at the new Open Circle Theater.
The Stranger called the Wing Ding "Southern fried genius." The Seattle Times "...weird, chaotic, and occasionally offensive to those with delicate sensibilities." And The Weekly: "A cross between, Letterman, the 3 Stooges & Artaud's Theater of Cruelty."
Carlotta Philpott, the show's Hostess says "We finally made the TV with real commercials & ever-thang! I'm so excited I could bust!" When asked what was new about the show Carlotta says, "We also have us a real live Africa America woman on just like the Persident... but she thinks we got demons in the couch... so we may have a little bit of trouble... AND we got a little Christian rapper fella... cute but REAL URBAN so watch yer purses ladies!" Terry Gladwell the show's Artistic Director says "I've gotten us out of the dredges of Capitol Hill right down to the heart of the city in Belltown where we belong with all the hipsters & up & comers! Goodbye torn up couches - HELLOW TV!!!"
Don't miss the show that will re-define late-night theater in Seattle while re-invigorating the Belltown area at the same time! DO NOT MISS Carlotta's All New Late Night Live TV Wing Ding.
